Part-Time Position: Secondary Reading Specialist

BrightFish Learning. LLC is currently seeking a qualified reading specialist to create courseware, training materials and teacher resources for BrightFish Reading.

Responsibilities:
1. Review BrightFish Reading course content for grades 6-10. Edit activities based on the BrightFish style guide and alignment to Common Core Standards.
2. Create new questions for vocabulary and comprehension activities using online editing tools.
3. Recommend courseware enhancements and implement where applicable.
4. Develop complementary materials and resources for teachers to use for remediation.
5. Lead online and onsite training session for teachers using BrightFish Reading. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Education degree. Specialty certification in reading and/or intervention strategies would be considered an asset.
2. Experience teaching reading and English Language Arts in middle school or high school.
3. Experience implementing online reading programs in U.S. K-12 schools.


Location: United States (candidate can work remotely).
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week to start.

Account Executive, K-12

We're looking for professionals who can create and leverage relationships with K-12 education leadership, including district/system administrators and school leadership, to understand customer requirements, generate sales opportunities and drive revenue growth. This is to be accomplished through prospecting, networking, meetings, conferences or other forums.

* Build BrightFish Learning brand awareness and visibility and by representing BrightFish at relevant local, state and national association conferences and meetings
* Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of key BrightFish products and services for effective positioning to administrators and key influencers
* Develop account strategies and territory plans that address customer needs and issues while meeting assigned quotas and targets
* Prioritize accounts and activities; analyze competitors’ activities and adjust appropriately
* Strategically plan sales calls by outlining objectives and actions
* Multiple geographic territories available

Education, Skills, Experience:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, Marketing or Liberal Arts.
* Three years of K-12 Education sales and/or district leadership experience
* Strong networking skills
* Established network of K-12 Education contacts
* Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
* Ability to collaborate with colleagues and customers via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings
