K-12 Grant Program

The BrightFish Learning Grant program for 2020 has now closed. Thank you to all of our applicants! The grant will be awarded on Dec. 15, 2020. 

Grant Requirements

In order to qualify for the BrightFish Learning grant opportunity, schools will provide:

  • Completed program application outlining the proposed usage of BrightFish Reading.
  • Fidelity of usage for students using BrightFish Reading: minimum of 1 hour/ week.
  • Lead teacher for each student grouping using the program – campus or district.
  • Agreement to share pre-post data from BrightFish and 3rd-party assessments.
  • Completion of final survey at the end of the grant period.
  • Publication of a case study on the implementation in summer 2021.

Schools Will Recieve

Participating schools selected for the BrightFish Grant Program will have access to BrightFish Reading from Jan. 1, 2021 to May 31, 2020 at no charge. The grant includes:

  • Licenses for up to 150 students.
  • Online teacher training webinar (1 hour) and instructional guides.
  • Support: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET by live chat, email and toll-free phone.
  • Reporting: Teachers monitor student progress using their online dashboards.
  • BrightFish Learning will provide district/school leadership with a monthly progress report.
  • Published report at the end of the pilot period. No student names will be listed in the published report.
